Financial

Whatever business you are in you will need a Payment Processor which is a method of being paid and of paying money out.

The first Electronic Fund Transfers (EFT) came about in the late 1970s and this allowed banks and financial institutes to, Electronically Transfer Funds between themselves. It was extremely expensive and unwieldy and High street banks like to hold onto your money for 5 or so days before transferring to where it should be.

My first experience of an Electronic Fund Transfer via a well known high street bank was back in 1990. To say that it was expensive would be an understatement. The charge for the transfer was £400 GBP. For this sum of money, I could have withdrawn the money from the bank, bought a return flight and 5 days in a four star hotel and delivered the money personally.
This was not the only problem. The money was not made available to the seller for 21 days, which meant that I had to wait an extra 21 days for delivery.

Fortunately, high Street banks and financial institutes do not have the monopoly on EFT and, today we know it as E-Commerce.

Although the internet started to gain popularity around about 1994 It was not until 2000 that security protocols were put in place and continuous internet connection was available that enabled European and American companies to offer Electronic Fund Transfers.

E-Commerce as we know it today is the ability to buy and sell and transfer money electronically over the internet.

Below you will find the payment processors that are used by the programs that I work with.

If you do not already have any of them then I suggest that you sign up for all of them while you are on this page. You may not need them at this point, but you will in the future.
They are all free to join so why not do it now and save yourself time later.
AlertPay
AlertPay is a Canadian Company founded in 2004. It has rapidly gained popularity and is a secure method of payment.

PayPal
PayPal was bought out by E-bay in 2002 and was, and probably still is the most used payment processor on the net. It is convenient to use and payments can be made to anyone with an email address, and you do not need a paypal account to use your credit card if you wish to purchase from a seller that offers PayPal.

Solid Trust Pay
Solid Trust Pay (STP) is a Canadian Company and enjoys a reputable and respected status and is gaining ever increasing popularity with a number of Internet Businesses and is very competitive with regard to Fees.

Strict Pay
StrictPay was founded in 2007 around the principles of superior security, exemplary customer service, and easier user access. You will need this payment processor if you decide to participate in and to fund your, Private Programs.

Perfect Money
Any company; that claims to have reached the, “pink of absolute perfection,” have a lot to live up to. Plus they seem to have the ability to look into the future (Perhaps they have a gigantic crystal ball that can look into the future or maybe even go, “back to the future,” like Michael J Fox & Christopher Lloyd)? But looking at the banner on the top of their web site they appear to see them selves more like the, “Men in Black,” (Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones). Whatever you feeling about them, they are a necessary part of some programs that only accept, “Perfect Money,” as a payment processor. I have never had a problem with them and they appear to be gaining in popularity.

Xchanger.org
xChange.org is a fairly new comer to the,” e- currency changer,” market. Xchange.org is an e-currency exchanger that at the moment deals with LibertyReserve, SolidTrustPay and StrictPay and helps you move funds quickly and efficiently between payment processors.
If your bank account is in one currency, and/or you do not have a USD account, and /or you need to transfer money in a different currency then you will need a currency exchanger. Xchanger.org is better than most of them and far better than a lot of them and is my xcahnge;r by choice.
