Personal Privacy

In todays modern world of the internet and technology your personal privacy is at risk. There are agencies willing to sell your information, Name and Personal details to any sales company that is willing to pay for it.

So it is imperative that when you go on the internet; you are extremely careful of the information that you make available.

For this reason, the only information that I ask from you, is your first name and your email address. I will only ask for your telephone number if you want me to call you.

Personally, if I sign up for anything and I think the information that they are asking for is irrelevant to the program, then I will not enter those details. If the program rejects my sign up, with the information that I have entered, then so be it, I do not sign up.

I am very sceptical of web sites and programs that ask for personal details that are irrelevant.

I am talking about details such as: date of birth, Married, single, divorced, and living with a partner, (Totally irrelevant, unless you are signing up to a dating agency?).

On some sites the only detail they seem to have missed, is the colour of your grand mothers’ eyes. (They will probably ask for it now that I have mentioned it).

I do not ask for your telephone number (That’s not part of the deal) as I do not need to contact you by telephone. If you need to contact me, you have my telephone number and, if you want me to call you back, then you can give me the number that you want me to contact you on. Plus, give me a time zone and the best time to call you.

I take my privacy very seriously and I respect your privacy in the same way.
